The Gate Keeper of the Fae Kingdom, an immortal child saved by the Fae. Due to the abandonment of Bairn's previous family, the Fae took him in just before starvation. As repayment, Bairn guards the entrance to the Fae Kingdom from invaders. However, with Bairn's frail and small body the Fae gave Bairn a shapeshifter's skin that allows Bairn to transform parts or all of his body. To add, the lingering magic of the Kingdom, time passes slower on the Bairn's body and therefore keeps the body at the ripe age of 11, for as long as Bairn stays near the Kingdom.
